true or false? a population in hardy weinberg equilibrium can only change due to mutation for future generations to still be in the h-w equilibrium

H-w equilibirum can only be achieved if there is no mutation.

You are right EX_EE. In the Hardy-Weinberg, in order for equilibrium to occur,factors that normally change gene frequencies do not occur such as

1. no natural selection
2. no mutations
3. no genetic drift
4. no gene flow
5. mating is random

I did not know there was a thread for TMDSAS. I had to reshedule my DAT date, therefore I had to forfeit my application to the Texas schools. I was afraid that I may not do well on the DAT in September so I rescheduled for December. I decided this because of the new rule that came out from the American Dental Association. I had taken the DAT over 10 years ago a number of times and the ADA counts those times. So this will be my last time to take it before the new rule become affective. I am a non-traditional student with a Master's in Business and a Bachelor in Biology. I will try again for 2008 cycle in May. Congratulations on your acceptance. Did you interview with Dr. Johnson? He is really a cool guy. What questions did they ask on your interview? I sometimes go to the school on Tuesday's for the Student Dental Society meeting. Well let me stop rambling on and get back to my studying for the test which is SATURDAY

I am going over topics and I am almost forgetting what I had learned. I think Iam going to stop studying right now and go out. Other than the breaks I take to go on SNS I have been studying all day and beginning to feel unsure. Thanks.
