Is isolation a requirement?

For the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium to be true:

1. No Mutations
2. No Migrations (in other words, isolation)
3. No Natural Selection
4. Large Population
5. Random Mating

saw this on the mcat forums.

Maggie May Does Not Smoke: Hardy weinberg requires no:
Mutation
Migration
(genetic) Drift
Nonrandom mating
Selection

not the best mnemonic, but it can work 😉
