The only hospital I knew of in Harlem is North General.
I never worked there but I did interview there. I was told the hrs there were crazy. The residents did all nighter calls and worked 6 days a week. The program kept advertising that they only worked residents up to 80 hrs.
(Yay we're great, we follow the rules!)
Anyways, most programs I've seen don't go anywhere near the 80 hr cap so for them to advertise that as good thing....ouch.
Aside from that I can't tell you if it was a good program or not, but I got the feeling it was mostly low socioeconomic urban cases you'd see there. The program director there told me there was some unique cases with the Haitian community that lives in Harlem.
