Harvard biochemistry prerequisite

Hi all,

Harvard's website says that they require one semester or three credit hours of biochemistry (no lab needed).

However, the AADSAS app says that the biochem Harvard prerequisite requires lab. I took the one semester of biochemistry 1, but my school doesn't offer lab.

I'm a bit conflicted here. Does this mean I can't apply because I don't meet the prerequisites? Assuming that lab is required?

I would say whatever it says on their site is what is accurate. You will still be able to apply.

I'm sure you can apply, but I would call them and let them know of your situation and see what they tell you.

No, whatever is on their AADSAS is probably more accurate. They update that with intent each application cycle. Who knows about the website?

Either way, you should contact Harvard.
