Hello guys! So i had a question about these top ranked dental schools. If someone were to get accepted to Harvard, Upenn, etc and they had an EFC of 0, would they receive any financial aid??
Dental schools aren’t ranked.Hello guys! So i had a question about these top ranked dental schools. If someone were to get accepted to Harvard, Upenn, etc and they had an EFC of 0, would they receive any financial aid??
Financial aid in the form of federal loans is an option, but as far as grants, those don't exist beyond college. Dental schools do offer scholarships though.
An ivy league school such as Harvard will likely have a lot more money to give out than University of Florida dental for example
Yes. They have a fairly surprising amount of money to hand out based on what I have seen people receive in the D1 classThat's what I was thinking. Any personal experiences from going to Columbias dental school?
These are my favorite moments! It seems it’s time for another Big Hoss “go to the cheapest school” moment. So, here it is. Go to the cheapest school you get into. Don’t worry about perceived academic prestige. Your patients will not care where you went to school, but you will care if you turn down a more affordable option when your loans come due. And before anyone goes there, you can ABSOLUTELY specialize out of any school. It’s your accomplishments that matter, not the name of your school.

A friend of a friend received a 4-year full tuition scholarship from Ohio State. Apparently they give out one a year, in addition to their smaller scholarships. There’s scholarship money to go around at every school, but only a fool would count on it.An ivy league school such as Harvard will likely have a lot more money to give out than University of Florida dental for example
