Hey guys,
I know Harvard interviews about a hundred applicants and only has 35 seats. But how many do they actually accept, including seats rejected??? Thanks

It varies from year to year. Last year they accepted 45 and only pulled a few people off the waitlist. To give you an idea, they say that very few people get rejected after an interview. On top of that they say during high volume years they will take as many as 10-15% off the waitlist but it could be much much less (like last year). So I would say they probably accept a total of 45-60.

Thank you 🙂. Im anxiously waiting to hear from them. Good luck to you on the wait list.

This might be a tad inaccurate based on my experience at Harvard. Last year ~120 people were interviewed and ~45 acceptances were sent out for their 35 spots. So this leads me to believe that they only accept 1/3 of their interviewees -- I wouldn't say that "very few people get rejected after an interview" but that is just my opinion. I specifically inquired about this and these are the numbers I was told.

I did not ask about the waitlist, so I cannot comment.

Anyone knows if they sent out any rejection letter yet? I applied around August, and no news/no interview/no rejection, guess I'll call them on Monday.
