In my hurry, I totally posted in the wrong section of the forum. :|
Sorry about that.

Anyways, heres my dilemma. I submitted my AMCAS two weeks ago, and have yet to receive any emails from HMS about their secondary app. The deadline is November 1rst, and I'm getting antsy. what should i do?

Is it an online secondary? If so pre-write all of the essays (if any) and submit the secondary as soon as you receive it. I believe Harvard sends out secondaries to all applicants so you should receive it shortly.

what if my application takes six weeks to verify? i'd be past the deadline!!! D:

Why not contact their admissions office? They would probably give the most definitive information.

If it gets to be within a week of November 1, they will likely send you an email saying that since your AMCAS has yet to be verified, they are forwarding you the secondary in advance so you don't miss their deadline.

That's what happened last year.

But at this stage, it very likely will not take you 6 weeks to get verified.

THANK HEAVENS.

thank you for bringing such blessed information to mine ears. =)

^ This is true.

Why even apply to Harvard at this stage? You might as well donate that money to charity...
