maybe you should give your own reasoning, since it seems like outside people may be biased towards Harvard, but you may have compelling reasons to go to Stony Brook.

EXACTLY, save the $80K+ and go to stony brook. (i'm assuming you're a NY res because otherwise it's practically impossible to get in)

harvard is still my top choice, i was just wondering if others think it is worth an extra $90k since stony brook has a lot to offer as well...

Hmmm. . . There are a lot more intangibles with a dental degree from Harvard. But your choice also depends on how you feel about the school. Go with your gut instinct.
