Which school do you hate more? It seems like alot of people are going against these two schools. Is it just because of their pbl curriculum?

What kind of stupid post is this lol..."who hates USC or Harvard more?" Seriously can you ask a dumber unimportant question? I'm not trying to be mean but isn't this a site where everyone is trying to either get into Dental School or have questions answered in regards to Dental school(s)? Imma be a dentist just as the people going to Pittsburgh, UCLA, Meharry, etc...and southern california dentists revere the ones coming out of USC for everyones information...and I have just as muhc respect from someone who comes out of Meharry then I do from someone who comes out of USC or Maryland....just my 2 cents.....

That is totally NOT true. This dentist that I worked for said that he'll never hire new dentist coming out of USC again, because these two guys who worked there graduated from USC and they couldn't even handle jobs that usually dental assistant does and they were really slow. I know you can't really blame those completely on schools but that statement right there is totally not true, as the matter fact it will be more accurate if it was the other way around. I can understand if patients revere dentists from USC, but not the dentists. They care more about how a dentist can handle the job within their own schedule. Not where they went to school.

I find this a little contradicting. If going to any school will make you a dentist (suggesting that the school doesn't really matter) then why would you claim that SoCal dentist revere the ones coming out of USC (this suggests USC dentists are superior to UCLA and LL dentists)? Then i guess it does matter. Unless you meant they revere all dentist that come out of schools located in SoCal...which include UCLA and Loma Linda. If that was the case, then that statement shouldn't be exclusive to USC. Anyway, just pointing out the inner conflicts of your argument. In the end, most of what we say here is anecdotal and meaningless on any objective grounds. Lets just be happy we're all going to be dentist .
