Anyone hear from Harvard if they interviewed after Dec. 1. I interviewed Dec. 2 and from my conversations with Kristin about 2 weeks ago, it seems like the adcom hasn't had a chance to meet. So, anyone get any word, one way or the other?

I can't really help you that much because I interviewed back in september so my information doesn't really apply to you. I got put on the wait list (letter dated Dec. 5 recieved around Dec. 10) I haven't heard anything else from them. I have to ask though, did you call Kristin Howard? I called her on Dec. 7 before I got my letter because I couldn't take the waiting anymore. She didn't give me any information because they won't give out that type of information over the phone. Harvard is far and away my first choice. I'm kinda going nuts over the wait list thing. I don't really know if I still have a chance or not. Anyway, do you think its bad form to call them and pester them about what's going on? I would like to call them and get an honest answer about what my chances are, but I don't want to become pathetic. Any thoughts?

does anyone know if harvard uses the +/- for calculating gpa (like a+=4.33) or do they just use a/b/c/d/f ? system?

In case anyone was interested, I called today to check if they received my updated transcripts. I found out that they will send out letters at the end of January to update students on their status. So by the end of January, those who interviewed post Dec 1 and who have been reviewed by the adcom will know if they've been rejected, waitlisted or accepted. Good luck everyone 👍
