Harvard's endo program

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
According to this year's ASDA Guide to Postdoctoral Programs:

It's a 36 month program and it costs a bucketload of cash out of your pocket - $73,000 per year according to the book. It says that includes travel, board/supplies, insurance, instruments, etc. Frankly I think $73k should include season tickets behind the plate to the RedSox and season tickets to the Boston Pops. I couldn't imagine doubling my school debt load for endo school.

Besides all that, I"m sure it is a good program. Their nonsurgical requirements are a little lower than most of the two year programs, so I would plan to spend only about 40% of your time treating patients, 30% didactics, 25% research and 5% teaching. (Those numbers were given to ASDA by Harvard).

$73,000 per year. That's too much money to pay in my mind.
