I consider myself a studyholic, constantly studying during the semester, and it certainly pays off, of course I do other things as well (extracurriculars). However, over this break I've done nothing but slightly browse through my kaplan DAT materials, and absolutely nothing else. I feel like I'll get behind, but is it fair to be taking this break? My schedule next semester is going to be tough, and I leave to visit family in Maryland in three days, where I won't be back until January 4th, the day before classes start again at UF. Is anyone else doing nothing but relaxing over break? I find this hard to do, but I'm starting to like this idea of relaxation...

yea I am defintily being lazy and lounging arond as well. This is the first time I have relaxed in a long time, since I took 12 credit hours in the summer. It is nice not having a bunch of deadlines and not stressing about school. sadly, alot of my friends are not in down and I have to admit I am bored out of my mind! Any Chi-town SDNers? We need to chill 😉

Are you kidding me? Doing nothing is what the breaks are for, Unless you have a DAT to jump over. Last summer wasn't a break for me at all because of the DAT, but this winter, hell yeah, I'm not doing ****. I wake up at 12 everyday and worry about what kind of nothing I'm gonna do all day lol. Enjoy your time off people, life is only so short.

definitly, i am doing nothing this break. my parents keep saying go back to work. i say this is the only time all year i have to relax and do nothing 😉

last winter break I had to study for the DAT, which I took in March. I tried to study around 40 pages in Kaplan per day, as well as taking one or two practice tests and setting aside a little time each night to work through PAT stuff (harder than it sounds if you haven't tried it yet).

I am currently in dental school, and just finished a semester of hell which consisted of 12 classes. I have done nothing thise break either, and am not planning on doing anything either 😀

Wish I could relax.....im takin the DAT on the 18th of January.....several school told me to take it again so that I would qualify for an interview

"Nothing worth having comes easy" Thats what my dad always says

good luck to anyone else studying

Having nothing done is the meaning of break. I haven't had a break for long and this is the first time I felt I deserved it. With columbia and UNLV interview scheduled next month, I'd enjoy life a little bit at this point.

I sooooooooooo want nothing to do! I worked a 12 hour today, but I have tomorrow off!! 😀
It has been a busy break, definitely not what I was expecting. I wish I could take a break from work but they aren't that flexible, especially when they know winter break is on.
Merry Christmas all and happy holidays!!!
