I did exactly that. Second semester physics. I'll let you know when I get invited for an interview lol....

I had multiple "F's" from starting college at a young age and really not giving a rat's behind. Spanked everyone of those classes with an "A" 10 years later, one of which was Bio. Out of 4 interviews (and multiple other invterviews I declined) only one school asked me about my previous grades and I recieved an acceptance at that school, as well as 2 of the others. The 4th school I'm currently on a waitlist for an entirely different reason than grades.

Congratulations on your acceptance! May I ask what schools you were accepted to? I myself have had a pretty bad start. Within my first two years at my community college, I managed to pull off a 2.93cgpa, 3 C's (one from high school dual credit) and mostly B's with a handful of A's. This fall was my first semester and my state university and I had one heck of a time adjusting to having classes whose grade is dependent on just a couple of exams and a final.(yeah, not very good test taking skills) But, recently I just found a great book that gave some sound advice on test taking skills, studying, and defeating procrastination. Unfortunately, I came across this book late this semester, so it is a little late for me to revive my grades, but I am very optimistic and hopeful of next semester.(Sorry for the long story! 😀)

All schools I applied to I recieved an interview invite. I turned down invitations to DMU,KCOM,LMU,Western-Leb. I was accepted by both LECOMs, PNWU and waitlisted at Oklahoma State.

The nice thing about retakes and the Osteopathic application is that it shows adcoms who you are today, and not necessarily the kid you were 10 years ago.
