Has anyone guessed on alot or some of the Math questions and still passed?

From my understanding, calculations are weighted a touch more than the other questions. So, in my opinion, I would work through the APhA problems in Chapter 1 until they are planted firmly in your head. These are almost gimme answers if you learn how to do them. Granted, there may be instances where you will have to guess. But, by and large, I believe if you prepare you will see the results on your score.

P.S. Don't forget about the nutrition calcs!!

Preparation is a loose term on this type of exam. They can ask you anything.....

True, but the majority of those who have taken the exam always emphasize preparation on calculations. They really can't do much different than what is given to us in the review books. The disease states?? Well, that's a different story and I'd have to agree with you...

I heard even some of the math on the exam is a shot in the dark....best of luck to you...

I've heard that too. We'll see what happens! Thanks for the well wishes. I'll be sure to post advice when I come back. When is the big day for you?

I had two math questions that I completely got different answers so...thereby guessing as to the right answer...I still passed without a problem.

I also had to guess on a handful of math questions and I got a pretty good score. There's no way you are going to know everything they throw at you.
