Has anyone had any problems scheduling or had unexpected rescheduling with Prometric?

I know about 8 students from my class alone that have had test site closures for both Step1/Step2ck where Prometric failed to contact them prior to the test. Naturally, that causes a lot of problems with rescheduling.

Personally, my Step2CK site was shut down unexpectedly for the remainder of my eligibility period and I was never notified. Oh yeah, and there aren't anymore test locations within a 200 mile radius until after my period ends.

Needless to say, its problematic. The people at NBME were surprised that this was going on.....so I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with Prometric or unexpected/unnotified changes with them. 😡

Its hard on the students' side because Prometric is our only test provider, so if it hits the fan, all we can do is take it. lucky us, huh?

I had a colleague who had a good experience, essentially he got sick hours before his test, and they rescheduled it and didn't charge him anything, since he was in the ER and stuff....
