Has anyone tried scholarware.com OAT prep and received 350+ scores on OAT?

contemplating whether to buy it or not...

Hey,

I used OAT scholarware and I got a AA 380 TS 400. I liked it because it gives you practice with the computer style testing, and I found the questions to be really accurate to the type I saw on the OAT. I also used Kaplan study materials, so I would suggest getting a couple of sources, Kaplan OAT is only like 30$ on amazon, and scholarware is pretty cheap to.

I def recommend scholarware. I got an old version from a friend and just reset the time on an old computer i had at home so that it would work 🙄

Anyway...it has 3 full length tests that are VERY close to what you'll see on the real OATs.

I got AA 380 too!! and i also used Kaplan test prep materials!! (I see a trend...hmm 😉)...it doesn't model test questions exactly but are in fact more subject focused and in depth so you can only benefit. Also, Kaplan gives super detailed explanations for all the answer choices in their practice subject tests and OAT simulations.

My advice: don't go crazy on test prep materials. make sure you thoroughly review and understand the subjects and of course, practice makes perfect. It really all depends on YOU.

Hope this helps! 😀

Listen dont waist your time and money on anythinh but the OAT destroyer and the Dat detroyer... it what you want and is constantly being up dated. I used it and brized through the exam.. I got 370, get at orgoman.com.... dont wait.

hey - i used topscore as well as acheiver and honostly, i thought acheiver was much better. unlike topscore, acheiver provides solutions to all the questions so you are not left wondering how they got their answers. The only thing i think topscore was better at was its RC section - the oat is pretty similar in style and difficulty to this while i found the RC section in acheiver to be slightly easier than the actual oat.

overall however, i thought they were both harder than the actual exam so dont be too upset with your scores on whichever one you choose! the only thing these tests were really good for was to get you familiar with the computer format of the test and to work on your time.

I used both of these to work on my time and found them to be very helpful in that regard. i borrowed kaplan from a friend but didnt really like it so much (although i know ppl do) because i thought it was too wordy in some parts and then would not go into enough detail for other parts and basically studied from the destroyer which i found to be very helpful. i was very happy with my scores (T.S 400, A.A 370) so i guess this method worked for me! hope this helps and good luck.
