I used it for a calculus class. Its pretty neat, but don't get in the habit of simply copying answers, it is tempting but will hurt your grade
The solutions sometimes can be over complicated, also what might be cheaper...look on ebay/amazon for solution manuals to the books your prof uses these usually if by the same publisher as that of the book are a lot better

it saved my butt for physics & chem but i think the new layout and Q&A system is stupid.
Ive used it for physics and calculus. It was awesome for physics, but they seemed to skip every really difficult problem in my calc book
First, make sure they have your book.
Second, SUBSCRIBE! Saved my calc grade for sure. You can look at odd numbered solutions fo free to see if you like their format, but trust me it's the best. It also helps to split the cost with a couple of your friends if you don't like paying $5 a month hahaha.

Helped for physics. Pretty good way to study extra problems without having to ask the professor to explain and check every one. Be careful though, me and my friends have caught ones that they've done wrong (but these were only in the upper level physics books to be fair).
Like others said, I knew several people that used it for physics and swore by it. Never used it myself though.
It's only helpful if you use it to learn, not to get homework done quickly.
The intent usually starts off well with these. "I'll only use it when I've tried everything and can't figure it out" and "I'll only write down the answer when I fully understand it - I won't just blindly copy." However, two physics (E&M) classmates' grades fell dramatically after a little while. They eventually realized what a time saver it is and they started copying answers for "easy" problems since they were just a waste of time. It's a slippery slope. By about halfway through physics, they started copying entire assignments so that they can focus on ochem homework. Both of them failed the final. Be careful is all I can say. But it can certainly be a great tool if used properly and not abused.
