Has Anyone's Application Been Sent Out Yet?

Mine was sent the 12th as well. My letters are being sent later this week and will arrive at AADSAS some time next week. Does anyone know the turnover time for them sending out the letters?

My GPA was verified around June 4th i think, and if you LORS have been sent there is a box underneath the recieved box that says the date that they were sent! If you application has been mailed, then under the designations tab it will say "printout mailed on Such and such date"

well EVERYTHING of mine was in on the 31st, so i guess they're just takig them as they're complete.

Hopefully mine gets mailed soon. The LOE wont be sent there for a while I think but that won't stop them from mailing the app correct?

On a somewhat unrelated topic, do you wait until you hear back from the school before filling out their secondary application (if they have one) or do you do it once your AADSAS application has been mailed out? Thanks

aadsas has a supplementary link on their website in which it tells you what the different schools want...some schools want you to send things out at the same time or wait til an admission counselor contacts you... i suggest checking it out...

Congrats to those who have submitted their apps and have taken the DAT, you all will be the first to get interview invites here in a few weeks from most of the private schools looking to nab a few good kids before other schools piss and piddle until septemeber or november.

So far 2 batches 12th and 18th. I hope I make third or at least fourth
 
Does anyone know if AADSAS waits to receive ALL transcripts from ALL schools you attended before they start verifying? They have 2/3 of my transcripts but they have not started to verify them. Thanks for help🙂

Are you talking about the "supplemental materials" link under the status menu on the main page of your AADSAS app? When I click on that it says no supplemental materials are required at this time. Do I not send out the secondar fee until the school actually gets my application, or do I sent it once i e-submit my AADSAS app?

yup you need all. if you go to status section for GPA verification it says you need all.
 
YES!!! My applications have finally been mailed out!!
Here is the timeline of my application process if anyone is wondering.

AADSAS app created: 5/15
Transcripts mailed (3): 5/16
LOR's mailed (4): 5/16

Transcripts received: 5/18, 5/22, 6/07 😕
LOR's received: 5/29

AADSAS app submited: 5/30

GPA verified: 6/16

AADSAS app MAILED OUT: 6/25
 
Printout Mailed on Jun 25, 2007 yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June 25 - all printouts and LOEs mailed

I didn't get an email and my file wasn't sent out with everyone elses.
 
What about LOR's? Mine will get there either tomorrow or Thurs. Anyone know how long it takes them to send those out? My app was mailed out on the 12th.

no you do not receive an email you have to check your AADSAS status everyday.

Nooo I got my GPA verified last Monday and mine didn't get mailed out. Did you find out from calling or your status changed on AADSAS?
 
my application was sent out today, but one of my LOEs still hasn't been submitted electronically yet. will the dental schools not consider my application until all of the LOEs have been received by them?

Most will want a complete application before reviewing. That means letters too.

I had everything ready 2 weeks ago. and today my status at AADSAS changed to 'sent out'. so probably by next week?

I waited all weekend for a nice surprise this morning, and it wasn’t sent. GPA had been verified almost 3 weeks now.

If anyone has an app sent today let us know.

AADSAS is ******ed (literally).
 
I just received an email from Columbia (literally like 1 min ago) saying that they've received my AADSAS application. I went on AADSAS but it says that my application hasn't been mailed out yet. I did mail out my supplemental fees a few weeks ago. So do you think they actually received my AADSAS application?

What the ****? How many other people have gotten this e-mail?
 
Schools can access our applications once we submit it right? I was just thinking that Columbia no way knows my email address unless they saw my application because I didn't put down my email address when I submitted my supplemental fee. This is really weird and confusing. If someone else has received this email, please let me know!

i received the e-mail, and my application has been sent out, and i just sent the fee last week, so i'm guessing when they get the fee they send out the e-mail regardless if your app is "mailed" or not. They probably accessed your info online.

So I’m thinking it could be any one of the following:

1) Columbia gathered fees for a couple weeks and sent confirmations all today, getting our email address from accessing AADSAS online.

2) Columbia downloaded all the applications from AADSAS, meaning our entire app is at Columbia now.

3) AADSAS sent all of our apps out already (received by Columbia), and has not gotten around to updating the computer system.

Lets go #3!!!
 
As soon as you submit, schools can access your application. BU is another school who will generally send an email before your printouts are sent (at least this was the case in the past).

Now that it’s the end of the day…

Did anyone get an AADSAS update that his/her app was sent today?

The last couple mailings have happened on Monday.

The order of most likely is probably 3, 2, 1. Never hurts to be optimistic, though! I submitted everything around June 16th and I got one of these e-mails today too! 🙂
 
i wonder why they haven't sent out my LOEs either. they were "received" on 6/26/07 and still no update on the situation. i hesitate to call and bug them though because i have this weird feeling they write down notes on your file and torture you by withholding your materials. 🙁

Horray! Mine finally got mailed out too. My gpa was verified on 6/25. I added a school three days ago and my printout was not mailed out to that school. I guess it'll go out in the next batch.

dang it, i just need one letter sent out for my app to be complete at schools. I guess it's not going to be this week
