Has anyone's transcript been received by aadsas?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Wait, should I call them to make sure they have my letters of evaluation? It's been 3 weeks now, and I haven't heard anything. I submitted three 6/3 and one 6/15

I wonder if e-submitting our applications has anything to do with random arrival dates. Three weeks seem a bit long.... did you check the status of your evaluations on your application status page? This is the way they inform us of letters and transcripts. I sent 4 of my evaluations in a bulk via interfolio on 6/2. Three of them were received on 6/9. The fourth one is MIA. I would call them up and see if you can get any information out of them, and then resend them depending on what AADSAS says 🙂

I e-submitted my app and paid the fee on 6/2.

Hmm...maybe I have to pay them before those weeners let me see if they received my letters or not. I'm submitting today probably

lol yea, it's probably because you didn't e-submit and pay yet. From all the posts and threads I've read, it seems like they give priority to those who have paid and e-submitted.

omg i'm about to kick my cat and drown my turtles. alright that makes sense. hopefully they will look at it when I esubmit

i used to have two turtles 🙂 anyway, good luck!

Transcript verified. The last one was received on 6/15 (that's the only one that matters for when it gets calculated).

Same GPA as I calculated. 👍

they finally received mine!!! (sent all of them on 6/8/11 and received on 6/17/2011 but showed up on 6/21/2011). Good luck to everyone who is waiting. So after all, i wasted that 2nd order of transcript who was sent over night. ah well.

I hope mine gets calculated soon!!

yay mine was verified today, 6/23. it was received on 6/15

It is so random that "chippy" has received his on 6/15 but didn't show up until 6/23 and mine was received 6/17 but showed up on 6/21.

Ahh now I see extra one's that i sent in....

FINALLY recieved my transcript! i sent it on 6/3 n it took them until 6/22 to recieve it even though they signed for it 6/7! n the excuse im now being given is because the school name changed (i desginated that on the matching form) n when i called in several times to inquire about my transcript and asked them if the name change was the reason for the delay the aadsas rep screamed at me tell me that is not the reason and told me to be patient....n now the same bs excuse used for the delay! ....whatever i hope they get my gpa calculated correctly 🙄 n get it done soon enough to make the second batch atleast 🙁

Question: where is everyone getting the "date signed" from? All I see on my aadsas is the date received. How do you know when it was signed? Are those for the ppl that express mailed the transcripts and got tracking numbers?

I think they probably have a huge basket/bin where all the transcripts go into and they just take em out and process them. I don't imagine them having separate bins for when they received the transcript or that they file the transcript by date received to be processed. They should have separated the transcripts by date received, at least every 2-3 days, and process the ones that come in first.

Yes they probably sent by UPS, Fedex, DHL, or even USPS with delivery confirmation. My school sends by first class mail so no tracking for me.

How do you guys send it with the express mail/certified mail with delivery confirmation option? Is it offered by your school's registrar office or did you order the transcript for yourself and then send it out at the local post office?

Post Office. Express mail is $4.95/envelope, certified mail is $2.95/envelope. For whoever was wondering.

The only thing is that I thought AADSAS doesn't accept student-issued official transcript

This is true. But, for secondary apps/LORs/whatever else you need to send, you can send it express/comfirmation mail for that price above.

yes aadsas doesnt accept student issued..but if u ask ur registrar to issue it to aadsas...officially seal them and get everything closed signed n sealed and give them A PAID us postal express mail envelope or ask them if u can express mail it urself then u can express mail it... because everything is officially sealed and addressed to aadsas and all ur doing is putting it in the express mail folder and sending it out...that is what i used and it worked for me.

obviously if you opened the envelope, you would break the signed seal and THEN aadsas wouldnt accept it....but otherwise they have no problem with it. i live on the west cost...i cant wait for this stupid mail to take 4 days to get to the other side of the country ....n i cant have it be lost in the process....so this is my best option. i know some universities have the fedex option to express mail the transcripts n for one of mine i just paid extra for the fedex option

hope this makes sense

Thank you. This answers my questions directly 🙂

i'm getting frustrated. Is anyone on the west coast that's had their transcript received by aadsas? I just want to make sure my school didn't eff up!😕

I sent my transcript June 15, and I live on the west coast and aadsas has not received it yet.

Yeah, I rushed it (same say shipped out) on 6/1 and it was received 6/15. If your school is anything like mine, it'll take probably 5 business days to reach the processing center, then 5-7 business days to be processed. If you're worried about it being lost, send another to be safe. I was about to send another in, but that same morning, I checked and it was received.

On a side note, for you interfolio people,

I sent out LoRs 6/3 and it was received 6/21. I also sent a separate LoR on 6/15 and it was received 6/21 as well. I esubmitted 6/22 and on 6/23 I saw an update in my letters status.

I saw someone say that schools no longer accept paper applications and that they just download the application straight from aadsas. That's why some schools have already received some people's applications because it's electronic. Anyone know this for sure?
