Ok so I took the DAT today. About halfway through (after break) the testing program completely closed and went to a regular computer background with the Prometric Logo. The whole time I was taking the test the program seemed a little glitchy and slow before it completely quit but it wasn't too problematic. I notified the proctor and she restarted the computer and said something like "hopefully this works" and I was thinking "are you kidding me??!!!!!!". The test restarted at the beginning of the 15 minute break and she told me to complete the test and it should be fine. Anyway...my scores are super low (by like 4 to 6 points) for the sections prior to the break and I'm freaking out. I've been studying for months and have been scoring in the mid to high 20s on all practice tests (not to mention this is the second time I have taken the DAT and I had a 20AA the first time). I just want them to either delete the whole thing and I'll stick with my original or have me retake it. I'm freaking out :vomit:. I've already talked to Prometric and ADA and they are apparently figuring out what to do but has this happened to anyone else???? I feel like there's a 0% chance that I actually just botched the first half of the exam THAT badly.

There was a thread earlier last month about someone getting a 1 on QR and it was due to a glitch. The computer only recorded the answer on the last problem. I'm sorry this happened to you though. 😕

This happened to me. My computer was bugging out for my whole DAT (even after the restart). My proctor also told me that I wasn't going to lose time but I saw that 4 minutes were deducted from my TS section. My PAT TFE took like 10 seconds to load each question too....

My scores weren't impacted (I think) as I ended with a 24. Hopefully it all works out for you though.

Let me know how it turns out. I ended up with a 21 on Orgo (section where the proctor just shut down my computer) when I really think I should have scored higher.

I really wish we could see a complete breakdown of our test. I did well and I scored a 21 on OC but I literally thought I didn't miss a question...I bet I made dumb mistakes but i want to at least know ya know?
