Hey guys,
I'm not very good at memorizing Photosynthesis and cellular respiration - I have a hard time remembering how many ATPs/NADHs/NADPHs/etc are formed and used up.

Anyway, I stumbled across this on youtube and think it sums up cyclic electron flow and the calvin cycle very nicely. And the rhythm is pretty darn catchy.

Just want to pass it along to you guys, enjoy.

LOL this is hilarious, but it doesnt really help me memorizing 🙁

Haha that video is great. My biochem professor would always show us silly videos like this to help with tough concepts! I think it's great!

Also question about the Calvin cycle for the DATs...do we need to know it in detail or a summary of it?

Yeah I was wondering this too...

I would go with the summary of it. The DAT is very general and I really doubt super detailed questions on the Calvin Cycle will appear on it. Plus, the chance of getting a ONE super detailed question isn't worth spending a large chunk of time memorizing every single bit of the Calvin Cycle. Finally, if you do get a question like that, missing one question won't hurt.

Why won't it hurt? Because you spent your time in more high chance questions that may appear on the DAT. Therefore, you actually get a higher score because you spend time on high yield questions over super specific questions that take a very long time to memorize and may never even appear.
