So this is my third application cycle and I'm a little nervous. Little background, I'm a resident of SD with a undergrad GPA of about 3.2 science and 3.4o. I just completed a master's in molecular biology with a 4.0 and got a 19 on my DAT and have been working as an assistant for a general dentist for the last two years.. The thing is I submitted my application the night of June 5th (and the next day depending on the school) and received notifications from my schools about 2 weeks later depending on the school. I don't see people receiving interviews from all the schools I applied to but several have, most notably, the University of Minnesota (because I'm a SD resident). So my question is, if I submitted my application almost immediately and others are receiving interviews, does that mean that my application has been passed over? Here are the schools if that helps.

No you have not been passed over. It is still incredibly early and schools will continue to send out interview invites over the next couple months. Don't stress!

I submitted my app middle of June last cycle. I didn’t receive an interview to some schools until November/December. Just be patient, and I’m sure it’ll all work out!

Ya I received emails from all of them stating that I had completed their apps and that they would review them.

Gotcha. Then like others said, give it time. Its a long cycle!

Hey, I'm a South Dakota resident too! Schools haven't sent out all their interview offers yet, its definitely an ongoing process. Especially Minnesota, I haven't seen anyone else on here saying they were offered an interview from them. Stay positive, the cycle has barely started

I would apply to 4-5 more places at least.
