How the hell do you get from this: √(2h/2g) to √(1/2) x (2h/g)?

Like what are the rules behind being able to do that? I don't see how you can.

Berkeley Review does it in the answer to question #2, passage 1, section 1 of physics.

I'm assuming the latter has all terms under the radical.

This is a fractions question then, not a radical question.

And yes, x^y * z^y = (x*z)^y.
