#57 should be E. I don't know about the other one. By the where are you getting these pat questions from.

When are you taking the test. I'm working on the General chem section. I've being getting horrible scores in gen chem.

Let me share a Kaplan technique that really, really works. It is quite simple. The answer will ALWAYS follow a line of symmetry along the first fold. I don't know if it's in the Kaplan Blue Book, but it is definitely something covered in the class. It's a bit difficult to explain in words on the forum other than that "it follows a line of symmetry along the first fold," so I hope you can make sense out of that statement alone.

Based on that in 57, you can eliminate: A, B, E
In 59, you can eliminate: A, C, D

You can do that part of the elimination very, very fast. Now all you have to do is choose the correct answer between the remaining 2 answer choices. Much easier, right?
