Have to retake, next step?

Hi Everyone,

Was wondering if you could give me some advice. I wrote the 4/24 MCAT and got a 22Q My breakdown was 8P/4V/10B. What's really weird is that I was averaging 7-8's on verbal and sometimes 10's so I have no FRIKKEN clue where that 4 came from, that's even lower than my diag score! Anyway, I'm hoping to write for July. I enacted the higher score thing for Kaplan so I have that material again, however I went through ALL of it once already (yeah i kno!).

I am wondering if anyone can give insight on where I should go next. I was thinking of hiring a tutor for verbal? I used mainly the Kaplan method and their material. I realized that a big problem in verbal is that I couldn't finish all the passages, or I would and wouldn't get that high of a score. Any suggestions?? If I get my score up in July, could I still apply this cycle still?

Don't freak out mate. Thing to do is get verbal 101k since you have at least a month or more left depending on which july date you were thinking of. I would recommend doing verbal 101 from exam krackers. Since you have taken the tests, go back and check your weakness in all the tests now and then to fortify those weakness. That is all I got! Good luck! don't worrry I was in the same boat, I am retaking this july as well, but took my first test last year.
