Has anyone SUCCESSFULLY taken Chem I/ Phys I during Summer I semester and Chem II/Phys II during Summer II semester?

I am hoping to knock all of these out over next summer in an effort not to be held back an extra semester, but don't want to overwhelm myself or set myself up for failure!:scared:

Is it attainable?

That's what I did this summer actually! Unfortunately the professor for chem I decided not to teach chem II though and she hired a complete ass who treated us like phd candidates and failed everyone for no reason on our first few assignments. So it would have been a total success, however I dropped chem II. I did get an A in chem I, B in Phys I, and an A in Phys II. I think it is completely doable if you are willing to put in a ridiculous amount of time studying!

Good luck to you!

Thanks! I will go for it then! :xf:

First off, is Phys for Physiology or Physics? Personally, I think its doable to take both classes I & II during the summer. would I recommend doing this, No! For the physics or physiology class i think it would be ok, the chemistry class i think you need more time to devote to studying and learning, especially Chemistry II. In my mind Chemistry II was way more difficult than Chemistry I, and for whatever reason, I'm glad that I took it during a long semester. But what I did, was take Chemistry I during the summer, and then took Chemistry II during the Fall. Yes there is prob only one or two of those classes available since it is the Fall, but it worked out for me. This way you could still take it and apply through PTCAS and have it as a pre-requisite that is in process.

Hey! Thanks for your response.

It is for Physics.

I took a look at my schedule and remaining classes and it looks like I will be doing more of what you did. I will take A&P II and Phys I during Summer I semester/ Chem I and Phys II during Summer II semester and take Chem II during the fall. Thanks for your recommendation and the heads up on Chem II requiring a longer semester. 🙂
