Some of my letters got in late in September and I'm over here thinking that some programs haven't even read my app yet. With November running up I have yet to hear from most of my programs even though many interview dates have been announced. Anyone have thoughts on when its appropriate to start emailing or phoning?

US Allo, very competitive GS app FYI.

I'm in a similar boat and have yet to hear from the majority of my programs. My latest letter was in on October 3rd. On myERAS it shows that all of the programs have downloaded my app, but whether or not they've read them is a different story.

I applied to some heavy hitters and top tiers and also have a very competitive GS app. Hopefully we'll start hearing more soon!

In past years, the GS invite/interview thread was spectacularly reliable. In fact it became a ht ridiculous - like people were gunning to be the first to list a big name program on the thread. A new program would be on the list within minutes of the first interview invite going out.

So what I'm saying is ... If the programs you're desiring aren't on that thread yet, you're probably fine.

The reconfiguring of the application schedule (I.e. Apps being submitted later, deans letters being submitted earlier) has caused a number of programs to change their process and timeframe a bit.

Just wanted to allay some fears for everyone - I just received an invite from Tufts and had a conversation with the coordinator about invite timeframes, and whether I should be worried at this point. She informed me that this is the first wave for their program, and that many other programs have similar timeframes. At this point, we are by no means late in receiving invitations. Stay positive, everyone! =)
