I sent my application out June 6th to 20 different schools. I got two interview invites late July and then I haven't heard a peep from any other schools since then, no rejections, no more invites. Is anyone else in the same boat? I just think that hearing nothing for three months is a little odd.
Haven't heard from schools for 3 months! Anybody else?

Same here, I also applied to 20 schools and nothing since August 29th. Who knows, most likely we could get some post december interviews. Lets hope so!

some reasons why may be due to your choices of schools you applied to.
1) Howard/Meharry? I think due to your non URM status...it will be tough to get interview there
2) Alabama/Kentucky/UW/UNC/San Antonio/LSU/Ohio State: a lot of these are state schools are NOT OOS friendly (UNLV is ok, Michigan would be OOS friendly)..if your state res is indeed Cali, that may be an issue
3) maybe would have been wise to apply to USC and Tufts (since you applied to BU and NYU and they are all within similar pricing)
4) maybe it would have been wise to apply to MWUs and Western.
just what i think. but that may explain some things
All valid points but there is really nothing I can do about it now, it's in the past. Using your same logic, wouldn't it be reasonable to think that I should have been rejected from these schools by now? Just a thought.
In hindsight, I realize that I made some really poor choices in where to apply as an OSS... oh well, life goes on
