This is a thhought that came to my mind after seeing all these "what are my chances threads." Are there any consistent 3.3-3.4 applicants out there? Maybe they didn't do so great, but they didn't do so bad either throughout their college career. Seems like all the 3.3-3.4 gpas are from people who had a rought start but had a great last two years.

My gpa was fairly consistent through undergrad. My cGPA hovered around a 3.6 and sGPA fluxuated between 3.4 and 3.3. That coupled with my 29 MCAT made me an average applicant (and average counts for nothing in California).

I had a 2.8 undergraduate GPA...

Offset with a 36MCAT...

And working fulltime + a part time job...

I got accepted, and am in my 3rd year...

So, it IS possible to completely suck in college, if you have strong redeeming qualities elsewhere...
