having trouble deciphering NYU calander

Maybe it's just been a long day but I can't make too much sense of this:

Well, I get most of it... but I dont get some things...

May 29 - June 25, 2010 D1 Vacation (except for remedial program)
July 6, 2010 D2 Classes Begin (Class of 2013)

Ok, so what am I doing between June 25th (when vacation ends) and July 6th (when classes start)?

i think you're confusing incoming d1 student schedules with current d1 schedules.

incoming d1 students would have this something like this schedule...

August 24 - 28, 2009 Incoming D1 Orientation (Class of 2013) - MANDATORY September 7, 2009 Labor Day - No Classes/No Clinics September 8, 2009 Incoming D1 Classes Begins and all other classes (D2,D3, D4) resume September 8, 2009 White Coat Ceremony

Wait..I was totally confused about the exact same thing. Maybe we have another orientation type deal during that time?
