Hawaii -4th year rotations

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
to do list:

1) Surfing

2) Shirking your duties in the hospital and then surfing 🙂

I rotated out there my 4th year with a medical school buddy. He did radiology and it was way more sweet - - he had much more time off than I had (heme-onc). ER would be another consideration - with all the time off and varied shifts. It is awesome out there for a month, great way to end up medical school.

where did your friend do radiology? any contact info for the hospital?

Straub, I believe. We just set up by visiting University of Hawaii's website. It was the best rotation of medical school by far - scuba diving, deep sea fishing, eating out every night, lying on the beach nearly everyday.......ah I want to head back.......

I absolutely need to make this happen as well. My wife and I visited Kauai for our honeymoon this winter break and have both vowed that we will end up moving there after my training. This would be a nice visit to tide us both over until then.
