Hey all!

Currently making an attempt to try out med school again after taking a gap year off! Although... my undergrad GPA isn't where I want it to be, and I'm a bit hesitant to go back and take some more classes to bump it up. Also would like to see if anyone has an advice on an ideal MCAT score that I should really aim for, as well as.. some things and areas that I could improve in?

Some extra things about me:...
-First-generation immigrant asian American in the U.S
-2nd year MPH in Epidemiology student at NYMC
-2k hours direct patient care as a CNA (certified nursing assistant)
-700 hours of patient care assistant as a PCA (personal care aid)
-over 1k hours of volunteering experiences in non-profit organizations that are non-health related
-Several leadership positions, including being a youth workshop speaker and board member for several committees that are affiliated with church
-Currently doing an epidemiological research at Columbia University, Department of Psychiatry (1 year) on child & adolescent mental health
-Decline trend of GPA due to legitimate personal reasons (imo); however, am trying to get back on my feet.

Should I do a post-bacc? Retake a few of my courses? or focus on killing the MCAT and hope for the best?
Help a brotha out :l

The MPH will not help for MD, but will for DO.
