I'm really interested in matching to anesthesia and my hopes are to do a fellowship into headache medicine afterward. From my research, I can't seem to find out whether headache medicine specialties are exclusive to neurology residents or if they're open to anesthesia. I would imagine anesthesia residents would be comfortable dealing with chronic headaches, at least the pain management side of things. How rare is it, really? Any advice?
