I was wondering once schools begin reviewing applications, what is the time frame from point of contact to actual interview? How long is that gap between the school contacting you and the actual interview? I just wanted to know because I know I will be purchasing airline tickets..so short notice wouldn't be ideal..

Don't worry about things you can't control. I'd love to get an interview in the next few months that seems last minute instead of a post-December interview.

It will get there as soon as they are willing to extend them to you. I doubt they'll give you only a weeks notice.

Yeah I def agree..I am not worried. I was just curious and wanted to know how it works. Thanks tho.

I was notified about 5-7 weeks before my interviews, except for one, which I chose to schedule earlier (in-state). One school gave me a few dates to choose from (all in the same week), while another assigned me a date.
