Heard from D-Schools?

I know that it is early but has anyone heard from any D-schools yet? Some people reported last year hearing from some school the first week of June, since schools can download your application as soon as you submit through aadsas, and don’t need to wait the 4-6 weeks.

hmm...i think it is still way to early to hear from them. They are still sorting things out with the 2007 cycle. Give it a few months.

You are awefully anxious already....you're going to drive yourself nuts if you're asking those questions already.

Acceptance: Harvard

on a more serious note...how long has it taken AADSAS to process your guy's LORs? I had mine sent out last thursday from my school's career center (they have a LOR handling service), and AADSAS still hasn't recieved them...🙁

That was actually what I was referring to was letters about received/missing items. How long did it take them to send you the letter I sent in my check 3 weeks ago and have not gotten anything. I have called a couple schools to ask if they have received my stuff any they all say we well be sending out emails soon.

I also received a letter from Pacific letting me know they received my app fee. I'm impressed with how quick they are!

i got a secondary application from UCLA, receipt from UoP and USC. i have a feeling its going to be relatively quiet from here on out though, except for maybe a few more secondaries

Case and OSU have received my apps. So has VCU and Nova.

Nova and Case also mentioned that interview invites will begin to go out in the next few weeks.

Let the games begin. Now its time to hit the old interview section and polish up the responses.👍

i wouldn't hold your breath...apparently the earliest any school will be handing out interview invites is late august, early september...

Apparently Not,

Case will be sending out hard copy letters for interview invites in mid of July to interview in ealry August. Nova said they would update aadsas status page and send a packet with interview invites in july for late august interviews.

So I don't know where your info is coming from but this is what the schools have informed me of.

Although I cannot say for sure this year as I have no reason to research that, some schools begin interviews during the first to second week of August historically.

I got an email from VCU and everything is there. I called and they said they even have my DAT scores. Also talked to Midwestern and they have my aadsas but no DAT... UoP and USC sent reciepts for checks. Ohio emailed and said they have aadsas app, I finished the supp app and sent it back into them...

Time for more waiting 😛

Got an e-mail from UI-Chicago asking for the app fee... that is all I've heard from! My printout was mailed 6/18.

me too! UIC and my app was sent june 18th. are u an illinois resident? on predents it says they have NO out of state students but on their website they say they take 10% (ughhh which is 6!!!!)

No, I'm not an Illinois resident, and know I have a very, very small chance of getting in (haven't even taken the DATs yet so don't really know what kind of applicant I even am!) But I figured it was worth a shot... if you don't try you'll never know 🙂

I've only heard from UoP so far, they sent a letter stating that they've received my check. I just checked my checking account and a bunch of schools have deposited my secondary app fee...but that's about it.

I think they can check it online if they want, but I heard most schools wait until they receive the hard copy of your application.

Yeah, the online copy is almost worthless to the schools. Interviewers and ADCOMS, imo, prefer to have a file in their hand to do any sort of preliminary evaluation.
