Has anyone heard anything from the U of U either good or bad?

I interviewed on Dec. 20th and the dean indicated some people may hear more quickly than others, but all should hear by the middle of March. Has anyone been lucky?

I interviewed on the 10 of January and got a call from the U of Utah requesting the dreaded third interview via telephone. I'm supposed to undergo that interview tomorrow (Monday Feb. 3). They told us that very few (around 10-20%) would hear in Feb. the rest would have to wait until early April.

I interviewed there on 11/15. I thought I was in the clear from the 3rd interview. Not so!!!!!!! I got the call for the 3rd interview on Fri. and was pissed off!!!!! Oh well, they think that they can toy with us all the way through this process. I guess we'll see where we stand in April, if I don't get in I will go somewhere else and be happy.🙁

Oh No!

I'm so sorry you guys, that totally blows. At least Rob is close by in Az, but Aqua from FLA back to SLC is a drag.

I'm headed back to Salt Lake next week to do some skiing and visit family, maybe I should call and make sure I'm cool.

Well, I am doing it over the phone because there is no way I am going to fly back out there. I've already been accepted to Virginia and if I get into Utah it will be a tough choice. I don't know how the phone interview will turn out but if I don't get in atleast I know that my decision will be easy and I will be at UVa in Aug.😉

I had the phone interview this morning. It sucked!!! The interview itself wasn't all that bad, no tough questions. The format was horrible though, I hated it. It seemed as though the purpose of my 3rd interview was to get a better feel of my research background. I was just so nervous, and I hate having no visual feeback when I'm speaking with someone. Anyway . . . hope that doesn't freak you out Aquaboy.
