Ok, somehow I keep getting these questions wrong in uWorld. This is what I understand:

Mitral Stenosis - Atrial concentric hypertrophy
Aortic Stenosis - Ventricular concentric hypertrophy
Mitral Regurg/Insuff - Atrial dilatation, atrial eccentric hypertrophy
Aortic Regurg/Insuff - Vent dilatation, Vent eccentric hypertrophy

What am I missing, can someone chime in?
 
Just think in terms of volumes and work. Increased work (more afterload or stenosis) requires more sarcomeres in parallel. More volume requires a bigger container so add sarcomeres in series. This will save you memorizing what happens in various scenarios.
