Hi everybody!

I hope somebody can answer this for me. I applied to dental schools this cycle and I have 3.65ish GPA and have some CC credits.
I took dat twice this year. although I studied like a crazy person, I didn't even get over 20 on dat.
19 science and total 18,
but my rc is really low. I have gotten 12 rc on each. I Guess it shows my lack of English. However, I am still doing fine in school...
today, I got an email from a dental school that they wanted to give me a phone interview. I think interview is usually face to face, right?

what is that? do I need to pass phone interview to get an actual interview? or do they just want to test my ability of English since it is my second language?

please let me know if anyone know about phone interview.

I know that not everyone can say nice things to me. Although your posting hurts me, I do appreiciate your comment 🙂

No idea about the phone interview.

I would not stress over this, but see this as more of an opportunity if it is a dental school.

Just prepare it like you would for any other interview, and make sure you can explain your DAT scores if they ask.

At least, with a phone interview, you don't have to worry about eye contact and all that stuff. Just make sure your voice has enthusiasm in it!

Rather than flying over to LLU for an interview, they're allowing you to do it over the phone. Prepare for it as if it's an in person interview. Maybe even dress up a little. It'll feel more of an interview in a suit rather than in pajamas.

Smile while talking on the phone. Salesmanship 101. It makes you SOUND like you're smiling - more pleasant.
