Hello, just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the Student Doctor Network and I am thankful I found something like this with tons of information on different medical schools/professions in one place. I'm currently a second year pre-med undergrad and I am unsure as to which direction in the medical world I want to pursue. Osteopathic medicine has really got my interest though. I appreciate everyone who is sharing all this great info!

welcome james. glad you found this site so early. i only found it as i was finishing up my junior year! I believe that both allopathic and osteopathic medicine have a lot to offer, and I dont see how u could go wrong in attending a certified medical institution in the United States.

the BEST advice I can offer you is that dont slack off. My junior year first semester crushed me cuz i took the whole thing lightly. Not to scare you, but always remember your classes come first, and then concentrate on shadowing, researching, volunteering, and developing hobbies. Do well on the Mcat, and study hard! goodluck, and let me know if I can be of any help. :luck:
