I have never seen you try to diffuse a situation. Nice attempt. Now go look at his post on the thread about looks and admissions.
 
Yeah, I'm sorry if I came off harsh, but it's technically not a good idea to put a picture to your name on here because then when you go to apply to medical schools everything you say on here will be linked to you if someone in an interview recognizes you. If your anonymity means nothing to you that is fine, but your post on the looks mattering poll was rather outrageous.

Didn't you read bannie's meltdown the first night? I think I was the only person not completely bashing him. All of my negative energy only goes towards one user on SDN. I think you might know him.

Secondly, I think we're being a bit too harsh here. The guy did something a bit stupid but he knows he shouldn't now. Whatev. 🙄

That's even worse. Pretty much no one on here cares what you look like (or wants to know- they don't seem hostile, but it really isn't important), but using other people's pictures is downright unethical.

That said, I'm new too so welcome to the forum. Now be reasonable.

And yeah... posting your pic online is a generally bad idea -- esp. on a site where you're hoping to get advice on getting into medical school... just not a good idea.
