Hello everyone:

I have a question related to the application process for dental school. They are asking me to input all of the courses I have taken as an undergraduate. My question is: I dropped biochemistry one semester and never took it again. Therefore, I have a W in my transcript. Should I put this course in my list or should I pretend that I forgot to write this course?
Do AADSAS really look into your transcripts?

Any suggestion??

If the class appears on your transcript, regardless if you received a 'W' or an 'A' for it, you need to list it. I understand that this year AADSAS is indeed going through and verifying all courses on your transcript with what you supplied on the application. Add that to the fact that dental schools will have your transcripts and will probably go over them as well. Honesty is always the best policy.

i am not sure if it is the same for aadsas, but i remember when i filling out the amcas (med school), it even required you to list courses that are not on your transcript that you took at other schools.

I absolutely agree with Gundam. Omitting any information on your application will delay the process.

one thing you fail to realize, actually a couple things you don't realize are:
1) (the main one) that the schools you apply to will request your transcripts, hence AADSAS is worthless. because of this, you can't fool anyone 😉
2) there are soooo many other things to worry about than a measly W on your transcript, if i told you how many w's i had you'd probably choke and call me a liar 😛
