alright peeps, can anyone tell me what is the deal with the following schools? I am still waiting post secondary from them:

UCI (put on hold mid january)
Rush (put on hold mid december)
Boston U (no interview yet, but I heard that they are done with interviews, so I guess rejection soon)
Wright State (application complete since late november!)
Drew/UCLA (wazz uppp!!! my top choice along with UCLA )😕
Finch (done in early/mid december)
USC
NYMC (done in mid october!!!)

The only one I have info @ is Drew. They like to organize interviews on Saturdays twice a month or so. So far I think they've only had ~ 2 Saturday interview days when they bring in @ 30 students. I don't think they're even halfway done interviewing yet, since their interviewing schedule goes to May. The next Sat group is Feb 22, then twice a month after that.

Their timing seems much better than last year, and if they keep to their word, we should hear 6 weeks post-interview. It was a long wait post-secondary (@ 2 1/2 months for me since mid-Oct), but once they notify you, they're pretty good @ scheduling. Unlike other schools that ignore you, Drew actually has a good excuse b/c they're way understaffed. Hope you'll hear from them soon.

thanks for the info Nefertari! so I guess I should be hearing from them soon (I hope). I believe it has been about 2 months now since waiting post secondary. Does anybody else have any info on the other schools? thanks

My application to Finch was done in late October (actually it was done on September 9 but my recommender didn't feel like writing my letter until late October even though I asked for the letter in late July and reminded her every two weeks....sorry, I got side-tracked) ANYWAY, I just received a letter inviting me to interview at Finch the other day. I don't know if it means anything, but I received the letter about a week after I called to check on my status. I got the letter on Feb. 5 and will interview in March.

Hey, I don't know if this helps any but I interviewed at Finch last month and they said they would interview at least through April. Also, I just received and invite from Rush on Monday and my app was complete mid-late November. Good luck!

BU's admissions website says something along the lines of: if you haven't heard from us by Jan/Feb, you should let us know that you are still interested in getting an interview. I was complete in late Oct and got my rejection last week. Seems like there's still hope, but I think you need to harrass them a little.

As for NYMC, I don't know if they are still offering interviews, but they are definitely interviewing until at least mid March, and I think there are some people that have posted interview dates even later than that. I was complete in mid-Oct, too and I heard from them last month. Still a chance for them, I would think.
