Hello SDN. I'm a community college student that's managed to maintain a 4.0 over the course of my studies. I'll be continuing my education at a four year, but a I have a few options.

I'm a TN resident and I have acceptances to utk and TN tech, but I'm having trouble deciding between the two. UTK has a medical school, and as such has resources in place such as research opportunities and shadowing programs.

TN tech is a much smaller campus, but doesn't have many resources for pre medical students as it it focused on engineering programs.

Does anyone have any input? Maybe there are alumni that can chime in. Thank you!

Off of your descriptions alone it seems like UTK is the clear choice here.
It's the school I'm leaning towards. I just don't know how hard the coursework will be compared to my community college experience.
Go to UTK! GBO!

Are you eligible for a Hope scholarship? Did you go to CC on TN Promise? If you're a sophomore then you could be the right age to be in the first class. Probably the best program in US higher education.
I'm not a TN promise student. I'm a little seasoned, and TN promise is for the younger crowd. Do you attend UTK? Do you find the coursework difficult?

I toured UT many years ago and loved it...the only bad thing about it was that ugly shade of orange

I actually like the Orange. The traffic around the campus is brutal, however. I'm used to biking to my community college.
