I cannot understand how Carbon #3 has a S configuration. Isnt the group with Chlorine take priority over Bromine?

I can't see the pic, but Bromine would take precedence over Chlorine.

Bromine has a higher molecular weight at 79 g/mol while Chlorine has a molecular weight at 35 g/mol. The one with the higher molecular mass will take precedence.

Try using photobucket, it should work that way.
