Hi guys,

I was wondering if the DAT will ask questions that was not specified in the DAT test specifications list? Has anyone who's taken the DAT have a question not listed?

Also, since the test specifications only mentions plant taxonomy and photosynthesis, should I study only those things for plants or is it better to know more such as plant's reproductive parts etc.?

I read somewhere that there were questions regarding histology on the test?

Thanks for the help and happy holidays!

Those topics are very vague... which can easily cover an entire BIOLOGY book... so what i suggest you do is go though people who already took dat... and read their breakdown and see how they studied for biology... reading about 10 breakdowns should show you how to study for all the sections... hope it helps.

Thats true, and there's lots of that on here. Also, the various prep materials do a good job at making u have a feel of the materials covered on the DAT tests. Practice tests are also a huge help. These give u a good feel of the types of questions you will c on test day
