help! difference about WREB class II prep between amalgam and composite

I will take Wreb exam this saturday. I have one question and need some one help me out.

What is different class II preparation between amalgam and composite in WREB exam? I will do two class II preparation and but I come from east coast of US. I heard there is much difference about class II preparation between dental schools of east coast and ones of west coast. at least different schools have different standard.
