HELP: elective in family medicine in Canada

Hi there,

I am a medical student in the Netherlands and i would like to do my elective of family medicine (6weeks) in canada during the summer of 2009. It doesn't have to be a university programme...I only need a family phisician who is willing to let me follow him/her for six weeks...can anybody help me?

Where in Canada do you want to go - west coast, east coast, urban, rural?? A lot of hospitals will have an "electives coordinator" that will help you arrange things. Best idea is if you knew where you wanted to go then call the department of family medicine at the hospital and ask.
