Hi. This is my first posting and I am interested in getting some feedback.
I am somewhat worried about my chances..
G.P.A.--3.2 overall, 3.0 science
DAT: 22 Academic, 18 PAT (I just took it this past saturday).
Three years work experience as a medicinal chemist and research experience as a chemist at my undergrad university (U Minn. Twin Cities)
My application is being sent from ADEA to the schools tomorrow (NYU, BU, USC, UNLV, Loma Linda, UOP and UNJ).

Obviously I have not heard anything from the schools yet...Do you think I have a chance of at least getting an interview at these schools??

NYU definetly...the rest of the schools i didn't apply to so im not familiar with their standards... GOOD LUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

I would say that you have a great shot at BU and NYU ....for interviews... don't sweat it... your scores are good!

no worries..great dats..solid gpa..good experience..
loma linda might not bite..but i wouldn't worry about it. nyu and bu for sure.

Your best bets are NYU, BU, UNLV, and UOP.

ya, I second the previous posts. What where your reading comp. scores? If they where good then that might help your 18 on the PAT for UOP. They like to see strong scores on both of those, so if you did great on the reading, maybe they'll overlook your PAT.
But congrats on the 22, that is 😱 amazing. You should start packing your bags now, because you are definately getting in somewhere.

Oh you've got a great shot....nobody wants perfection anymore, too hard to pick between them. Rough edges and interesting backgrounds are it. I'm in dental school now and several of my classmates are less than you...don't fret it yet!!

You also attend a state school, and those classmates you refer to are probably residents. That's a completely different situation than the OP, who applied to only private schools and not to his state school.
