Hi folks,

I am a Canadian that studied in America and finished my part i and ii American boards.

I would be happy to answer questions (hopefully others will also jump in) regarding the nbde and uncertainties you may have with how the Canadian and American may differ.

Please post your Canadian situation/question and I will do my best to tell you if it differs/how to approach it from the American perspective.

Hey there,
I'm a Canadian dental student currently in my second year of study, planning on taking the NBDE part I in the summer. Could you recommend some good prep books for the NBDE part I? The resources here at the dental school for the American board are quite limited.. How long did it take you to study for the part one?
Thanks

I was never a biochem whiz, but after reading lipincot biochem I finally learned it for the first time after numerous biochem courses in undergrad and even dent school lol. Also many people like dental decks. Personally I took very good notes in dental school and studied solely from lipincot and my personal notes. I got a 90 or 91 on the part I, can't remember which. I studied for 2-3 months.
