I didn't know to put AP credits into the coursework, and the AP credits' date would mark my first session at my university Spring 03. I've already inputted all of my coursework except this, but I'm wondering if it would be ok to put it in now since it would be out of "chronological" order. Would they ever even know it was out of order or would it matter? Anyone know how the schools see the transcript? Is it by what the official transcripts look like? by the order we input it? or by the way AADSAS will organize it? I'm not sure if I should input it now or start all over so it would be in chronological order :scared:

oh goodness... I didn't even think about AP courses... I have 30 credits from high school without a grade (just CR)... how does that work???

you are saying you already e-submitted your application without AP courses?
then, I don't have an answer to this. Might want to call them up.

but if not, you have not submitted yet. Then you can just put it in as Spring 2003. It order things automatically.

no i have not submitted. but then the instructions say to enter it in chronological order. Anyone know how the D schools will see our coursework and grades? Is it in order of how we inputted it? (I know it's not in the order we see on AADSAS since it's wrong for quarter system) or in the right order seen on our transcripts? Will they even know that I put it in last?

Chronological order is semester order. Coursework needs to match the transcript and be in the same semester as the transcript. If I remember correctly AP credit doesn't count toward GPA. If you haven't submitted then make sure you put in your AP courses.

Thanks. I'm just wondering if I need to start all over to input in chronological order or if I can just add Spring 03 now even though I already inputted everything else, and whether this would affect what they adcoms see (how I inputted it last)

aah this whole AP thing is so confusing! what are you guys putting for the institution? because you cant put in your high school - it only asks for colleges, right? are you guys just putting it under your first semester grades?

😕

You can input the semesters at any time. They will automatically be arranged chronologically. The schools will never know (or care) what order you typed them.

As for the institution, use your college or university because they issued the credits, not your high school.

There is an Institution called "High School AP Credit"

Yeah but just write them down under your college, the ones you got credit for.

there is a section in FAQ talking about AP credits and it says to do it this way so... I did it like that. I dont know what the purpose of High school AP credit institution is tho.

yea so this is all very confusing. i called them today and they said i had to have my application reopened later in the week or else it will be delayed?

and yet when i asked people who have already gotten in, none of them ever inputed AP scores. whats up with that?

Depending on when you submitted the appl. it may still be pending its processing. Hence, you can make necessary modifications before it's sent out.

so to double check, you're saying for AP classes just list them with your FIRST semester in the institution that gave you the credit...even though this will look like I have 40 credits in that fall session?

also if my transcript says "T" (for transfer credit) what do I put for grade on the apps...CR for just credit right?

also I declined half of my AP bio credits so for first semester bio it says BIOL1105Credit Disallowed/Stu DeclinedCD since no actual credit is counted can I just leave this out even though it's on my transcript?
